Kimberley holds a Masters degree and AHPRA endorsement in the field of Educational and Developmental Psychology, and is currently completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She has 11 years of experience, spanning university, school, community, hospital and private practice settings. This has included working with individuals, groups, couples and families, across the lifespan with a variety of presentations.
Kimberley has a particular interest and expertise in working with children, adolescents and families. However, she joined the team at ACEFT in 2017 especially to work with couples and families within the attachment-focused model of EFT.
Employing an empathic, sensitive, collaborative and evidence-based approach, Kimberley draws on focused psychological strategies from a range of therapy models in order to achieve positive outcomes based on each client’s individual needs, priorities and preferences.
Kimberley is passionate about working with individuals and groups, in order to help them successfully achieve their goals. Her experience as a university lecturer, primary school teacher and parent of three has provided Kimberley with a unique insight into working collaboratively with families and schools.
